This is by far THE BEST ETHIOPIAN RESTAURANT IN ROCKVILLE. My husband has been a loyal customer to this place for 8 years and introduced me to this place soon after we first met. I fell in love with the jazz music, art and atmosphere immediately. I felt like I was right at home. It always feels so welcoming and surprisingly is always busy with excited chatter, clinking dishes, and compliments to the chef. The owners Mimi and Mehari are very welcoming and will great you with a warm smile and get you seated right away. Soon after we shared our first full platter of all the good stuff, I found to crave this food EVERYDAY. Next thing you know we're visiting 3 times in a week. Soon after, the owners Mehari and Mimi introduce themselves to us. They are the kindest souls and have always went above and beyond to give us the best service. We were customers - turned life long friends! These recipes cannot be replicated anywhere else. I have never felt more full yet refreshed in my life from eating anything literally anywhere! This is a must try even if you are new to Ethiopian food or already adore it!

We have tried many Ethiopian restaurants in the area, and Sheba is hands down the best! The food is absolutely FANTASTIC, the portions are great, and the service is quick and friendly. We have enjoyed their food both in-restaurant and via delivery, and it always hits the spot. We’ve probably eaten here 50 or 60 times and have never had a disappointing meal or experience. Highly recommend!
The food here is AMAZING!!! Came here to try Ethiopian food for the first time with my boyfriend, and we both were amazed! Light and flavorful dishes, seasoned to perfection! Food presentation was great and the atmosphere was very pleasant! We both had a wonderful date night, WILL BE RETURNING!!!
I went to lunch here with a friend and was so impressed!! The menu is expansive and has a ton of vegetarian and vegan options. The prices are reasonable and the food was out of this world! This is my second time trying Ethiopian food ever, and it blew me away. So flavorful and delicious! I don't like spicy food so I was a little worried, but they have lots of mild options to choose from and everything is clearly labeled with the spice level. The restaurant was well-appointed with a nice ambiance. Impeccably clean and fantastic, personal service. There is a small, free parking lot out front. Highly recommend!
